Overview

The Dubai Frame is undoubtedly a quasi-perfect showcase of the development path of Dubai over the years. This frame was created to commemorate the growth of the city, Dubai. It is also one of the most famous buildings in the city of Dubai.

Shots and projections which serve the purpose of being the sights and smells of ‘Old Dubai’, give this gallery the key attributes of a realistic experience. 

Dust and rubble gives way to views of elegant arches as guests are swiftly transported 150 meters upward to the central platform. This platform is essential as it rounds the area view in one swift movement due to its 360° view, and is necessary to the overall finish of every exhibit. At this height, the northern parts are covered in ancient locations, and the newer astonishing doll-like regions become apparent. Features that are enjoyable include the augmented reality which adds a digital experience and allows for easy identification of structures based in Dubai.

For the brave tourists, there was a 25 square meter see-through platform on the roof that provided stunning views of the ground. 

Finally, at the last phase of their journey, the tourists have reached ‘Future Gallery’ where virtual reality allows visitors to see how the city of Dubai will look 50 years into the future with the newest technology.

• Impressive Dimensions: The entire Dubai Frame is made up of 2,000 tons of steel and 9,900 cubic meters of reinforced concrete and measures 150 meters in height and 93 meters in width. 

• Design & Symbolism: The golden stainless steel frame along with its rectangular shape and external features are said to be ‘the brilliance of dubai’ architecture which is based on the golden ratio and the logo of the expo 2020 exhibition.

What’s Included?

All galleries and spaces, including the upper and lower level observation decks, are accessed through a General Admission ticket on the Dubai Frame.

Know Before You Go

• Location: The Dubai Frame lies in Zabeel Park and is easily accessible via Gate 4 on Sheikh Rashid Road.  

• Entry Guidelines: Any child under the age of three and People of Determination can enter at no charge. All children under the age 12 will be granted access only when in the company of an adult. 

• Parking: The first half an hour is complementary and after that one will be a charge per hour. 

• Accessibility: The nearest metro station is Al Jafiliya Metro Station which is on the red line.  

• Weather Policy: Due to extreme weather, management of the Dubai Frame reserves the right to close the establishment for security reasons temporarily; however, the ticket can be rescheduled if such a situation arises but is not eligible for a refund.

Additional Information

• Restrictions: Pets are not allowed. Absolutely no smoking, eating, or drinking is allowed in the place. Visitors are requested to cover their tattoos. Large bags and strollers should be deposited at Gate 4.

• Warnings regarding safety: Do not lean against and do not encroach upon the railing, do not get up to the other exhibits and touch anything, don’t put children on top of the railing.

• Timings: In the month of Ramadan, for the duration of the holy month, opening and closing timings are adjusted to 11 AM – 7 PM.

Cancellation Policy

Dubai Frame tickets cannot be reimbursed, but there is no time restriction for their usage valid till 4 April 2025.
