How Dubai schools are helping families with flexible payment plans

Dubai: With education expenses continuing to rise across the UAE, many families are looking for ways to better manage school-related costs. In response, several Dubai schools are introducing flexible payment solutions and support systems to help parents handle tuition fees more comfortably.

Schools say parents have increasingly been approaching them to discuss installment options, financial assistance, and alternative fee arrangements that suit their household budgets. Educational institutions are now focusing more on offering practical and supportive solutions while ensuring students continue learning without disruption.

Punit MK Vasu, CEO of The Indian High Group of Schools (IHS), explained that while some families have requested flexibility in payments, the number of such cases has remained stable compared to previous years.

“Some parents have reached out to discuss revised payment schedules and financial support options. We continue to work closely with families to find suitable arrangements whenever needed,” Vasu said.

Why this Dubai school has not raised tuition fees in years

One of the major reasons IHS stands out is its decision to maintain affordable education despite increasing operational expenses and inflation. The school has not increased tuition fees for almost a decade, even though regulatory authorities allowed schools to revise their fee structures.

According to Vasu, the school strongly believes that education should remain accessible to families from all backgrounds. Along with tuition fees, costs for transport, books, and uniforms have also remained unchanged for many years.

Flexible payment plans and deferred fees ease pressure on families

To reduce financial stress on families, IHS offers customized payment plans, sibling discounts, and scholarships for eligible students. The school also introduced special payment flexibility for students transferring between its campuses, allowing parents to spread payments over an extended period instead of paying large amounts upfront.

In addition, the school confirmed that transport charges are not applied during mandatory distance learning periods.

Other schools in Dubai are also introducing similar measures. Credence High School stated that although fees are structured term-wise under KHDA guidelines, parents can opt for monthly payment plans for added convenience. The school also provides scholarships and sibling discounts for qualifying students.

As families continue balancing rising living expenses, Dubai schools are increasingly adopting supportive fee structures aimed at making quality education more affordable and accessible for everyone.
