UAE weather: Fair to partly cloudy skies ahead; high of 38ºC in Abu Dhabi

Skies across the UAE are expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times on Friday 24 April, marking the final day of this working week ahead of a two-day weekend for residents.

According to the weather forecast released by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow at a speed of 10–20kmph, up to 30kmph.

The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) forecasts temperatures across the country to be between 23ºC and 41ºC with a high of 36ºC and 38ºC in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, respectively. In its five-day weather bulletin, the NCM said that it expects temperatures in the country to rise more again on Sunday April 26.

On the 22nd, Mezaira in the Al Dhafra Region recorded the highest temperature nationwide at 44°C, which was measured at 2 pm (UAE local time).

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea on Friday.
