In a statement released by the Abu Dhabi police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, it urged motorists to clear the road when merging, reiterating that safety on roads can never be compromised.

Fines and Penalties for Violations

Motorists were also urged to refrain from any sort of distraction and focus fully on driving, which would assist them in reading their environment better, allowing time to respond appropriately and safely.
