UAE announces travel ban to Iran, Lebanon, Iraq

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced the suspension of any travel by Emirati citizens to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanese Republic and Republic of Iraq during these ongoing regional events.

It has also advised all UAE citizens who are Schengen countries to leave urgently and return to the UAE as soon as possible.

In implementing monitoring on the health and safety of expatriates, it emphasizes the importance of adhering to the instructions and advice issued by its embassy.

UAE nationals in Iran, Lebanon and Iraq are also requested to contact the Ministry at the following tel: +971 800 44444. This is a precautionary measure taken by the UAE, to ensure the safety of its people
