Pakistan embassy in UAE announces suspension of passport processing service

The Embassy of Pakistan in the UAE on Wednesday April 29 announced passport processing service at its premises is suspended due to technical and maintenance reasons.

It called upon all Pakistanis to apply for their passports online from within the country or wait till new instructions were issued by the Embassy. In a post, it further clarified that "The community will be informed as soon as the service is resumed".

Earlier, the embassy in UAE Capital, Abu Dhabi announced that it would remain closed on Friday, 1 May 2026, to observe "Labour Day". It reopens Monday, May 4, 2026.
