6 adorable UAE farms to visit, where you can feed bunnies and pick fresh fruit

Fresh air. Birds chirping. Leaves rustling. If you feel like being an outdoorsy person, perhaps it is time to leave the city.

The good news is, there are tons of farms to visit in the UAE that offer just that and beyond. Bag the freshest farm produce, feed some cute bunnies, pick strawberries and wallow in nature.

Here is our guide to where to go for a break from the city, from organic fields in Al Ain to honeybee hives in the Hajar mountains.

Emirates Bio Farm, Al Ain

One of the biggest organic farms in the UAE, Emirates Bio Farm has certified organic vegetables, fruits and eggs. Also, you are buying a produce that has been harvested just 24 hours ago.

This experience can be booked after 3 pm each day and is called Sunsets at the Farm.

You will go strolling through organic fields, view the sunset setting over the crops, before turning in for dinner at The Farmer's Table with its farm-fresh fare.

Dhs50 (fully redeemable). Mon-Fri 2pm-8pm, Sat-Sun 2pm-10pm.

The Camel Farm, Dubai

And if you trailed your fingers over its fur—well, if you've never cuddled a camel before, now's your opportunity.

Meet the friendly resident camels at The Camel Farm, who are also joined by goats, rabbits, chickens, game birds and pigeons.

Plenty to do there in fact – guided farm tours with animal feeding, short camel rides for children in the farm, camels hugging (yes really) and one hour Bedouin camel ride out into the desert.

Deal of the Day: one free child under 8 with every paying adult (up to 0).

Open Sat-Thu 9am–6pm. Fri 9am-noon, 3pm–6pm.

Al Rawabi Dairy Farm

A rather different and quaint experience, Al Rawabi provides tours of its dairy farm for those wanting to know where well the result of it originates.

You get to see the milking process taking place, visit the dairy museum and even cuddle with calves. Good for the background to pursuit-minded children and food-focused grownups alike.

Open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Hatta Concept Farm

This farm, located near the Hatta Dam grows fruit in a sustainable way all year around and every winter you can go pick your own strawberries.

Free entry with strawberry picking prices starting at Dhs35. This current season expires on Thursday May 1, 2026, so there are a few more seasons to be completed yet.

After filling your punnet, take a seat at the on-site café for a cuppa. You are sitting at a place indoors or outdoors with the farm surrounding you.

And a bonus fun fact: You can also experience fig plucking yourself.

Dhs35. Open Mon-Thu 08:00-22:00, Fri-Sun 08:00-23:00. until Thu May 1, 2026

Hatta Honey Bee Garden

Honeywalk in Hatta takes you behind the world of bees: The more time we live with nature, the more it reveals its secrets.

A professional beekeeper will guide you through preparing for the experience to come, where you’ll don protective gear and then walk amongst the hives in the Al Hajar mountains as they talk about how honey is made from nectar by bees.

Sessions give a choice of scraping honey directly from a comb or working a manual extractor to bottle your own supply. What’s not to love?

You return home with a jar of honey, honey offerings and digital photos of yourself all dressed up in a complete beekeeping suit.

Dhs50. Open Daily from 9AM to 5PM, Distance- 2KM from the Hill Park.

Mazaraa Farm, Abu Dhabi

Mazaara Farm, Al Bahya – about an hour and a half from Dubai – is actually part farm, part leafy escape. If you would like to work at a farm, it is the place to be.

The animal lineup consists of horses, camels, rabbits, gazelles and ducks that visitors can all mingle with. You can also fish on site, admire thousands of acres of sunflowers and enjoy both a café and a restaurant on the estate.

Daily 8am-9pm.
