UAE President Greeted with An Official Visit By Qatari Prime Minister

The meeting concisely deliberated how the mutual interests could be further built along with entegration of security in the area.

Abu Dhabi: On Tuesday, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who is the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

As sent by the Emir of Qatar at Qasr al-Shati, Prime Minister of Qatar, who was the first to speak, was thankful for his country and wished the UAE success in its endeavours. In turn Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed responded kindly with warm greetings to His Highness Sheikh Hamad Tamim bin Thani Al Thani, Emir of the state of Qatar and wished the audience and the state of Qatar success and prosperity.

The President and the Qatari Prime Minister, during the meeting, exchanged views on relations and concern for the enhancement fo the fraternal cooperation between the two countries in favour of the two nations. Similarly, the talks also sought means and or mechanisms of advancing their common goals and aims and more so integrate the peace and stability of the regions.

The two sides also provided their positions on a number of regional and international issues of common interest. In particular, they stressed the need for increasing efforts to reach ceasefire and de-escalation in the Middle East and prevent further escalation to ensure regional security and stability.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the presidential court, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan - Deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi, National Security Advisor, Lt. General Sheikh saif Bin zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahayan Deputy Prime Minister and minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahayan Deputy Chairman of the presidential court: Special Affairs, and some senior officials, including others: Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, secretary of the supreme council for national security, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment joined the meeting.

The meeting chairmen together with Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior, participated in the Qatari Prime Minister’s delegation, as well as other high-ranking Qatari officials as part of the delegation.

At the same time, it should be pointed out that the Prime Minister of Qatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Qatar and the accompanying delegation arrived at Al Bateen airport in Abu Dhabi where Sheikh Tahnoun received them.
