UAE denies reports of Israel PM Netanyahu's visit, calls claims 'unfounded'
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied reports on Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu travelled to the country, calling the claims "unfounded".
They have also denied any Israeli military delegation visiting. It stressed its relations with Israel exist "openly and based on the structure of the well-known, publicly declared Abraham Accords".
The Ministry explained that the relations between both countries "are not based on shadowy or non-official arrangements"
The authority also stated in the brief, "claims about unannounced visits or undisclosed arrangements are completely unfounded unless formally announced by the relevant authorities of the UAE".
It also required the media not to propagate unverifiable information or a spurious political narrative.
