Emirates Group employees to receive 20-week salary bonus after record profits

The Emirates Group revealed an incredible 20-week pay reward after a record execution in the monetary year 2025-26 following notable highs for net revenues, incomes and money adjusts.

Despite the US-Israel-Iran war which has rattled Middle East aviation, this is what Dubai's flagship airline made.

The Emirates Group, which includes the Dubai-based carrier and its dnata aviation services arm, as well as subsidiaries in cargo, catering, travel and retail operations reported an all-time profit before tax of Dh 24.4 billion (up 7 per cent y-o-y) on revenue of Dh150. 5 billion (up 3.0 per cent YoY) and cash in assets at Dh59. 6 billion (up 12 per cent).

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates airline and Group after the letters "March 2026 will fade into memory, but we will never forget your courage and remarkable fortitude.

You were summoned during one of the hardest challenges we have ever faced as a state and you answered the call with grit and heart — I will be eternally grateful to you for that."

The results follow what the airline called a “disruptive and challenging” past year. Regional aviation, which was riding high post-Covid with a visit to some major travel sectors has driven headlong into impotence since the US-Israel-Iran tittrag at the end of February. After a period of disruption it is slowly recovering, with airlines rebuilding schedules and capacity.

In a separate statement Sheikh Ahmed said: 'We are fortunate that our base is in Dubai, where years of investment in infrastructure and a collaborative aviation ecosystem has allowed the local government to quickly establish safe corridors for commercial flights.

One of the largest parts that operate in Dubai is the Emirates Group. The Group continued to recruit across Emirates and dnata, resulting in future workforce growth of 130,919 employees – up eight per cent. Last year, the Emirates Group shortlisted 390,000 candidates from among 3.5 million applicants and on-boarded more than 9,700 people in UAE.

The aviation sector is a key enabler for Dubai's economy and the findings from an Oxford Economics report commissioned by Emirates and Dubai Airports (October 2024) reveal that, in aggregate, the Enviromics dimension alone attributable to the Emirates Group is around £15 billion.

According to the report, aviation also directly accounts for more than 630,000 jobs in Dubai and this number is expected to increase by another 185,000 before 2030. Emirates is now largely back up and running, after a difficult March. The airline now services 137 destinations in 72 countries covering the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, Middle East/GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), Far East and Australasia.
