Choithrams Rolls Out Ticketless Parking in Dubai
Choithrams and PARKONIC launched a new ticketless parking system today. The companies will complete this exciting rollout by mid-April. Shoppers will experience this modern upgrade at three Dubai store locations.
How the Smart System Works
The pilot program covers DEC Marina, JVC Manhattan, and Silicon Oasis. The PARKONIC operating system completely powers this entire parking network. Customers easily manage their parking without physical paper tickets.
The supermarket gives one free hour of parking to everyone. Cashiers validate this free time right at the checkout counter. Shoppers simply tell the cashier their vehicle license plate number.
Easy Payment Options
The smart system charges 15 dirhams for every extra hour. Drivers can easily pay this fee using a quick QR code. The system also deducts fees directly from active SALIK accounts.
Enhancing the Shopping Journey
Choithrams CEO Mark Mortimer-Davies praised this new parking initiative. He emphasized the strong customer focus of the popular retail brand. His team constantly seeks new ways to improve the shopping experience.
Mortimer-Davies noted that easy parking shapes the overall store visit. No customer wants to struggle to find a parking spot.
PARKONIC CEO Imad Alameddine echoed these positive sentiments today. He stated that modern retail requires a seamless customer journey. This smart collaboration successfully removes everyday friction points for arriving drivers.
